You should set the temperature at liquidus point of the solder used on the BGA plus 20 to 25*C. So, for tin-lead that would be ~215*C. Most lead-free solders run about ~20 to 25*C higher than that.

As a starting point, consider that these component leads may not be getting hot enough. Measure the temperature profile on the leads that do not solder well to be sure: * Heating and cooling ramps are within the paste supplier's recommendations. * C

usual solder cream has a viscosity above 800 000pas at 25C for each 1C the viscosity change about 30 000 pas at 15C you will have nothing ( 37% of viscosity less)on your board...

From ambient, about 25C, that's to peak overall to about 230C. Dave's got the link to the SMQ 230 sheet.

the first and last zones heat up just fine the middle just cools down. The only way I can get it to start up again is to open the oven and let it cool down to room temp. about 25C. says heaters are on oven not ready.

Yep fully functional and failed during the test. 25 to 55C in 3 hour hold for 9 hours then 55C to 25C in 3 hours hold for 9 hours then repeat. Humidity at 95 percent! Boards only part conformally coated. Growth with and without the coating. seems to
