I need to purchase a rework tool mainly for QFP's including 30mm x 30mm. I was looking at a Metcal QX2 and a Pace TF200. I would welcome any comments on these two products or any other suggestions. Also, is a preheater necessary?

Balls are 0.30 mm diameter, with a height of 0.24 mm It's a 8*8 mm 184 pins BGA.

We also want to use pallet method. How you work it out. We do have small PCB ( 30mm x 50 mm ) which have 0402 component & also micro BGA. Is it possible to make pallot for these component. thanks Ajay

Something else I forgot to bring up....can we get by using our normal water soluble process or are we going to be able to clean under these things? The BGAs have .18mm and .30mm ball heights.
