Can some one provide information to rework ERICSSON bluetooth. How to remove and place the bluetooth mounted on the PCB? What type of equipment to use? Regards

180deg celcius the module will be released. Or heat the whole system above 180deg celcius, and release the module by picking the PCB (not the shields) There is a socket designed for the module as well did you know? b.r. Arjan

A picture and drawing of the socket that Arjan mentioned might give you clues in removing the module. Look here: http://www.emulation.com/bluetooth/

Check out my web site "www.ape.com" I can remove the package from the board at 183c and never reflow the 90Pb/5ln/5Ag solder on the inner-connects. The unit you're looking for is the Chipmaster. Casey Best of Luck

I am having a problem with some joints on a 100 pin pqfp and few different soics on one particular board. When viewed a 8x with a "Mantis" inspection scope the joints look as though they wetted to the ic leg but when probed the leg will pop loose.
