Hi, I think our Splice Device is the tool yiu are looking for. It can be used in high volume production for splicing in the production line OR used to splice short lenghts of carriers to a complete reel. http://www.dekitools.com/group.asp?group=664⊂

Hmmm. Judging from the overwhelming response, I'd say these pick and place machines are not very popular.

There's no real point in them now as for not a lot more you can get an I-pulse, Samsung, Mydata or Assemblion machine, or a good second user machine for the same or less.

According to IPC-A-600, measling can occur in epoxy-glass boards when the moisture content of the board is above 0.3wgt%. Is this the industy acceptance standard for max moisture content of a board?

Questions are: * Do these boards meet IPC-A-600? * What does your supplier say is the source of this color variation? * What steps is your supplier taking to make the boards more acceptable?

I am new to the board so be gentle with me. There are standards such as IPC-610 for PCB assembly, IPC-600 for bare boards, etc. Is there a "standard" for electro-mechanical assembly? Is there an IPC standard or any other industry approved standard
