New Pick and Place Operation

Electronics Forum | Tue Jan 17 10:59:43 EST 2006 | Rob

Hi Pete, Thanks for taking the time to respond. My experiences with Mydata would differ from yours, but as in life, different machines are for different circumstances. We have many low volume customers that love them - they are easy to use, upgr

New Pick and Place Operation

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 09 18:51:05 EST 2006 | grantp

Hi, I have used both MYDATA TP9, MY9 and more recently MY12. MYDATA machines are just not accurate, and we did everything possible, and every kind of upgrade they had. We ended up putting in Fuji XP based machines, and the differences are very notic

New Pick and Place Operation

Electronics Forum | Tue Jan 17 17:28:47 EST 2006 | adlsmt

I would agree that anyone buying a new machine should run boards on it. As well I agree with almost everything you said. We did run boards on a Mydata machine. If we were shorter runs and higher mix I would have bought one. We paid a local comapny a

Mydata Hydra and 0201 components

Electronics Forum | Fri Sep 02 07:38:13 EDT 2005 | DannyJ

Hi Mike, I haven't tried the 0201s with a Hyrda, but after seeing 20 reviews of your message without a response, I'll try and share my experience with 0402s on a non-Hydra machine. The 0402s are slow, but I managed to get some speed by maxing out

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 21 12:30:03 EDT 2005 | Rob

Hi Greg, We've used lots of machines over the years & seen lots of different tape related issues - the main one being snap off of the cover tape, usually due to too much glue, over entusiastic heat seal, or a feeder requiring maintainance. Also the

Decoupling caps and PCB layout

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 10 02:38:36 EDT 2016 | zxcvb

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 11 14:59:22 EDT 2002 | pjc

CP4 jerks all axis after power up and reset sw...

Electronics Forum | Tue Apr 17 13:07:17 EDT 2012 | rodrigo

Well... after much headache I found a bad relay contact in M1CR1E. The good news is somehow the axis are no longer jerking. The bad news is that it still does not work. When I turn it on now it shows this: emergency stop (in red) waiting for reset

Problem with rigid-flex PCB pressing (PVC and PET damage)

Electronics Forum | Sun Dec 21 04:27:44 EST 2014 | leadthree

Are you really sure that related to my issue? Anyway, in the meantime I experimented a bit with a PVC supplier and now I have a soft PVC that can handle my 185°C (365°F) for 90 Minutes. It becomes a little bit yellow - the previous got cat-black.
