Error we get is quadalign. Calibration is good. Signal for this head appears better than #2 which works fine. As soon as 1 picks up the first part we get quadalign error. Thanks for any help you may have. Andy

Have you tried turning the theta manually to feel if it is stiff or having a harder time turning. This will cause Quadalign errors. also be sure the handling is not set to 10% on the theta this is also a problem.

One wood agree the offset you are seeing is enormous and probably PCB tooling related. However, if this is ruled out you should have the C-tool to verify your cube alignment. Who knows, maybe your cubes are loose?

Not sure of the 400 but with the 100; If you are desperate to run - cover monitor with mylar and use felt pen to mark alignment.

I have about 40 jobs that don't have fids, yet I have to screen print adhesive or paste. I have to use the pads on the board for auto alignment. But then again, I don't use DEKs so I am inferior?

Yes, they are fairly easy to use. Hardest part is alignment. But with a Mantis magnifier, they are not bad. They really do work! We apply the Stenquik and then squeegee paste on. Very simple, wish I invented it.

Yes, but you can expect a 20%+ pickup failure rate. Chuck-based alignment was so 1990's.... :)

5mil works great. Just make sure that you screen alignment is dead on. We're using a SAC305 with a home plate design. I ran a test a couple of months back and found that the home plate design works the best with 0402s.

What is your alignment method for printing? Vision? Mechanical? What is the advertised repeatability for your machine? Russ
