Lifespan and Useful life are two completely separate items. I agree some mfrs machines are mre robust than others, but there is typically a trade off. As Sr Tech intimated, PM is the key to keeping all machines humming.

Correct Rob. All of those platforms are built by Yamaha in Japan. You cannot buy a Yamaha machine in The US.....must be Philips/Assembleon. Same scenario in Europe? Rick

my first thought was that too, but all the other components on tha board have reflowed properly. I have tow test boards, one with Imm Sn and other with Imm AG. on both these boards only the QFP has this solder phenemenon

I'm sure that we have all seen it but it can be from so many different things. Definitely can be from flexing, Are you 100% sure that they are good prior to this install remove process?

thanks for info Most of the defect soldering joint do not take place. Observe that PCB not cleaned properly & also component wetting not good. testing staff expect that all card what ever they receiev shuld be 100% ok. they straight forward complain
