If you kink the leads will you be able to insert it without flexing the board/moving any of the other components? Also these pin headers aren't always designed for this process so have you checked that it will take the elevated temperatures?

We use the Tribol 930/100 Synthetic oil. Also, check the drive motor chain on the output end of the oven. I have seen the set screws back out of the drive gears, and it will kind of pop at times while running.

Speedline also sells 1 gallon and 5 gallon sizes too. I think the 1 gallon was about $140, I dunno about the 5 gallon though

Now how did you know we were wave soldering BGAs onto a board that goes into a karaoke machine? Thanks for everyone's input. We currently use tacky flux, but I beleieve we will also look into screening paste onto the BGA as well.

Larry, I know some of the Quad stuff is also Samsung but don't know how that translates to feeders. I suggest calling Precision Placement Machines, Inc. They should know about 4c.

We had similar problems with some of our products and found the root cause was our ICT fixture. The damaged balls/pads were always in a certain locations so finding the pattern helped. It also didn't help that the boards were ICT'd 10 + times.
