Don't know which year 's machine you got, the touch screen monitor came with a computer control card. I think you have no choice and to go with Universal.

We have a 4796A (1988) and a 4796B (1999) and have been able to swap them (rear LCD touchscreen) to isolate to the monitor. Thanks again, Bill

Back to square one, is your monitor physically damaged or is it mulfunctioned? Try the local monitor repairing tech's, may give u a surprise. We had the one at the front panel fixed by a local repairing guy here,(cheap $75). It works.

I have not used either of these chemicles. However, I would contact the manufacturers and explain your situation. No one will know better than them.
