Do you have any other suggestions for Semi Auto Cut and Clinch machines. Because of Contact Systems reputation I was leaning towards them, but I had no idea they we having problems.

Hey, go to http://www.uic.com it is the Universal Instruments website. Universal sells HSP 4796 machines. These are actually Sanyo TCM 3000 Machines. We have 4 of them, they are awesome machines. Hope this helps, Curt

Contact Systems is doing OK, I wouldn't worry about parts or service. I would call them if your looking at used, they probably offer a warrenty.

I am not sure where Dilbert is getting his information but the last I heard Contact was just about ready to close there doors. This information was from a customer doing bussiness with them

The 400 is probably the benchmark for semi auto through hole, I would recomend this machine regardless of how Contact Systems is doing. There are thousands of these machines out there and there are quite a few groups out there that provide service f

Contact Systems are nice and easy to program and operate. I would recommend the 400 series as well
