Are the drive motors DC? Reverse polarity on the motors and switch your photosensors on the entry and exit end. You might have to play with the SMEMA connections a bit, but you'll figg it out. ;)

for the last couple of days when i power up our quad iv, i get assembler is off errors. i cannot get the machine and the quad align to start. any help is gratly appreciated.

Hello Sir, in this situation I recommend you to check and reconect the conectors of Quad Align Board and also of Quad Align Sensor. Everton - Brasil

Just a slight correction....the quad align card is located at the back rear right of the machine (in a cage). If it is a cyber-optics 4c machine....the laser align card is in the front card rack to the far left.

Check the following... 1. Set the fiducial reading to SCAN... 2. Clean the half mirror of the fiducial camera... 3. Check the CCD Camera...maybe blown fuse inside. Hope this will help.... Good luck....

If the above recomendations do not help...(I'd try them first) Did you try the infamous "Fuji Fix"? Power the machine all the way down and power it back up. (Rebooting the software)

From looking at your images I would say it could be poor solderability on the terminations of the component itself. Can you get your hands on a different date code and try them out?
