Hi Everybody, In our process we use syring flux for repair the boards, both SMT and PTH. I would like to know with your experiences what kind of flux is better for SMT and PTH repair, PEN or Syring flux??

You don’t need top heaters as long as you can reach the flux manufacturers recommended board top side temp.

Has anyone done any testing with UV tracer in Parylene processing? Does it cause adhesion problems? Does anyone have any data they can share on this.

We do parylene coating and really frown upon using a UV additive. Technically, it's a contaminant to the parylene.
