Hi, it isn't the whole machine, I am selling spare parts from it. I have taken most parts off and the chassis has now been scrapped.

Seems like a file was corrupted on the hard drive. Hopefully you have it backed up. We take a hard drive image of every machine on delivery in case of a hard drive failure or corruption.

I would start by checking the caps on the PC board. I used to have the same machine & they would fail every few years which could cause some random errors to appear on times.

I suggest you should start learning what's current SMT is capable of in now days. The company I am working in right now able to run huge boards, over 3feet long and 1feet wide.
