Has anyone had negative experiences with hasl thicknesses below .00005'' of an inch on copper? If so could you please respond with what the problems were. Thanks in advance!!!

Call Samsung and see if they have a theory of operation. Otherwise the manuals have a lot of info in them as to how they work. Russ

Also check out the Rhythm from RPS. We have been using a Rhythm selective solder machine to do what you are talking about for several years now.

We have some large plated through holes, that we protect with hand placed Kapton dots before they go into the wave. Is there a better option? We are going to see if the boardhouse can put them on for us but I was curious how others are/would do this.
