This doesn't sound like standard processing to me... having to set up a separate program, drill holes, etc... to use bad boards from a supplier. If the supplier was a truly good supplier, they would send replacements ASAP and fix the issue. Again,

Thanks all. I guess I will go with the EBAY. AmScope brand for $350. I have used these and they work fine. Not bad. Not as easy on the eyes as a Mantis, but get the job done and the boom is durable.

Additionally, I have seen the bad align error from incorrect pickup Z. Quad align can freak out sometimes if it sees something it doesn't like. If all else fails I just reboot and 99% of the time the problem goes away.

Pd/Ag doesn't usually dissolve (leach) nearly as bad as Ag only. In my hybrid days, we would use 62/36/2 solder. The 2% silver helps saturate the solder joint and thus keep the Ag from being leached away by the Sn.

1. Check the vision gantry motor. 2. Check the cards, and trying to swap the card to see if it still having problem, if it is, then the motor itself is bad. It doesn't come cheap either.

Engineering tried it with special made .4 nozzles (which we could never get to pass a center test reliably) but the results were less than spectacular. The reject and bad placement rates were high so that idea was abandoned.

It back running now, after shut it off over night, it power back up,look like the heat sensor under of 4 resistors is start getting bad.But i'll by pass it, if it happen again. Thank you for your in put.

Charlie, The EKRA printer is not a bad choice if you are just trying to upgrade from a table top unit. The DEK is much better and would be money well spent.
