Lasse: Rich beat me to it! His steps are the correct ones. You first need to put your CAD-data into a column file and then use CAD2CAD to import, process and export it as VIOStxt. Greetings Base

You're having the same error/problem on three seperate machines? Are you sure they are properly hooked up?

Jason- Shoot this guy an e-mail. He's a rep in India for Assembleon and seems to know a thing or two about these machines.......... Vinit Verma [vinit.verma@prosemtechnology.com]

Thanks Base, Yes, we did use the overlap method but we still have problems. Thankfully that product is now obsolete, so until next time.... Cheers, Rob.

Any aperture/stencil thickness suggestion to provide a rigid solder joint for 0.8mm pitch PBGA with 0.4mm ball diameter. The pad is based on IPC7095 and it is 0.3mm. Thank!

Just as an option you might want to look at Assembleon also. They have an adaptive base that allows you to run the GSM feeders on the new MG machine, which is faster than the UIC machine. I do not work for Assembleon just wanted to mention it.

We are using an inline aqueous washer with saponifier to clean smt assemblies with rosin based no-clean solder paste. Looking for a reliable, cost-effective way to monitor the cleanliness of the assemblies after cleaning. Any recommendations?

Hi GS, I forgot...coming from what you said about aging, the complaints we received come from products that were processed 3-6 months ago. Based on your experiment, should this age affect the quality of the seal? Thanks a lot, Liza
