Brad, have you got any calibration jigs with the machine? This could also be down to laser offset or laser scaling which are both calibrated with different jigs. Where are you based?

Dow Corning 3-1953 is widely used when it comes to silicone based conformal coatings. Low odor, medium viscosity, can be atomized or needle dispensed. We have our operators fill syringe cartridges for any minor touch up.

You can register your machine with Universal Instruments for very reasonable fee (I paid ~500$) and get access to their web-based support. Well worth the money. Also, you will be able to order spares, which you will certainly need...

Both Alcohol and Water based should work. I will try to stay away from Rosin/Resin because of the residue - issues in ICT.

The one i've been using on some thermally diverse boards with great success has been henkel loctite mfr 301. It's alcohol based not quite the solids you are looking for but close it's 5.5-6.5 solids and it is no clean.

jin, The answer is no. DOS has to be installed from distributive normally supplied with machine. Hopefully, machine data has not been erased. If it has been erased, than machine will have to be recalibrated. Regards, Pavel
