Electronics Forum | Wed Jun 27 11:58:42 EDT 2012 | cyber_wolf

Your tool tips are being damaged because the small x-motor is not engaging when the head is picking parts. When this happens the head overshoots and you bang the tips on the mag springs. Directly after a tip gets damaged go into the service program a

Thanks dyoungquist and tech 1, Things have been crazy lately installing Mylabel and keeping up with customer demand. I have been looking into buying more reels for the high runners (caps, resistors, IC’s that we use a lot) and I think we have a shot

Adding new line

We are a OEM and growing pretty fast. The like the idea of setting up common components on the machine. It makes sense from a set up perspective. All of our set up is off line but the set up usually lasts longer than the SMT run so we have some spora

baking out pcbs after reflow process

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 05 11:26:08 EDT 2012 | cobham1

I need help with how long do I need to bake out double sided PCB's that have been cleaned. The units will not be reworked but instead will be moved on to hand stuffing. I have looked in IPC CH-65B and J-STD-033C. I get information for parts if I am r

The lower the RH in the MBB the better for all moisture sensitive devices. Maintaining less then 5% will mean no parts of between 2a-5a MSL will need drying before use. The calculation uses 10% because it is a sensible amount of desiccant to use base

ESD Protection - Hair

Actually the correct way to fix this is to carefully remove the belt on the rear of the machine that connects the left and right rail lead screws together. Square the rails then carefully re-install the belt *without turning either of the lead screws

Capacitor ~ Electrolytic ~ Tantalum, Marking

Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 19 10:02:34 EDT 2012 | ericrr

First, why is there appears to be no marking on simple capacitors when there is a code for, yet there is markings on resistors? Attached is a interesting table, it came about after I spent hours and hours and hours looking on Internet from a 16 Volt
