Well, she's been puttin' on a little weight lately, so I thought I was doing her a favor. Actually it really was a safety issue somewhat due to our own ignorance of the AC power requirements of the belt and vibe feeders. New machine to us, and a fe

We are using a Heller 1707EXL for both lead and lead-free assemblies with no problems. The zones can reach the temperatures needed for lead free. The belt speed can be adjusted so I'm not sure about your "run slow" comment. Maybe the 1707 is diffe

Patrick...I'll give you a couple of examples. Wave Soldering, the Science: you're getting solder shorts and you slow your belt speed down just a bit knowing that this effectively lowers your contact length and improves your peel-back for that tou

We're using a PFC (Product Flow Controller) box by Cogiscan between a conveyor and Agilent SJ-5000 (AOI) and the problem we're having is that when the downline smema cable is connected to the PFC box, the AOI conveyor belt keeps on turning even with

Are you sure it is the Z axis, and not the rotation, I had one machine which often did something similar, it would buzz loudly, especially if you touched or applied rotation pressure to the gear belt which rotates the head. It never caused any hard s

Before you rule out the profile, did you run an actual profile of the board or run machine characterization? How old are your TCs? Have you run them more than a half dozen times? Is your profiler calibrated. In my experience making a living of pr

I never calculate it when I setup a profile...I have a feel for our fluxer setting and adjust based on belt speed and width. I also have different nozzles and a pressure setting to play with. Inspect the bottom of the board for good coverage. Runn

Just to throw my two cents in the MY19 could be slower than the other my machines due to the greater distance the head has to travel to pick up and place the components. The longer distance could also account for extra wear and tear on the motors and

The problem with the Sunsda units is that they use a special circuit board, not PLC and Chinese software for programming, so getting into the program to find out what is going on is a problem. Have you replaced the SMEMA cable? I have seen bad ones.
