Not knowing your brand of Heller, I might suggest disconnecting the first cooling section to verify it's your heater fans. I just had a retro kit done to my Electrovert for a similar thing.

A heller that the fans work on? Wow, you should be feeling lucky! If you are sure it the fans you should slow 'em down a bit. Russ

We do not have a fan controller. For some reason our engineer forgot to get that added in the options. We have an 1809EXL model with not fan controller. Heller wants to charge us for that option.

I would think that you could just add a pot or something to adjust current to fans for pretty cheap Russ P.S. sorry about the fan joke!, had a "good experience" with them once.

A discussion started this morning an whether we need to add an N2 line to the reflow oven when we switch over to a lead free process. We will be using OA flux. Any thoughts?

We are now running SMT ROHS assemblies. We are losing some upside down parts in the reflow oven when running the 2nd side. These are parts that do not fall off the leaded version. Anybody else having problems with this? What are you doing to stop

Short term, taped the gold finger. long term, study the air flow of the reflow section of the oven. It is always being overlook at this part and lookout for the printer. The air flow must be laminar and properly flowed back.
