Les, Some of the answers to design or stencil aperture/placement machine depend upon what is the current spacing between your components which you didn't specify. Chip components such as 0402's and 0201's typically have very small reductions in pas

I could really use some help, My oven is continually blowing one of the SFC fuses (the one on the left as it sets in the machine) when the conveyor tries to run. It appears that the traces on the circuit card were having too much current pulled th

Thank you for your prompt response. The boards we have made for us current are Immersed Gold treated because we have been hand soldering and needed flat finish that would solder ok without tarnishing too quickly. I will take a look at the link you pr

When I made my previous reply, I don't think I was very clear in what I said, so like any politician I will rephrase my response to the question. My intent was that the board didn't have enough soak time leading up to final reflow. So what was happen

Are your PCB's stretched or is it that the films that were used to make your PCB's distorted. Thus vias and TH's don't align. These things will probably be picked up in bare board testing , but depending on the amount of offset may get through, to yo

No direct experience with this particular issue....but, I do know that measuring capacitance can be tricky. How are you arriving at this conclusion? Are you measuring the caps on the bench before assembly, and then on the boards post assembly? Cap

this is very touchy. There are many CPMs out there. Which one is the best for you though is what you should figure out. I think your boards density, quantities and variety assemblies will define that. One of our customers has around 1000 different ass

Resolved. Thanks to some information provided by the fine folks over at Capital Equipment Exchange I was able to update the system to a EXP-VID-B video card, replacing the EXM-13A and EXM-14 combination. This update eliminates the jumper cable betwe
