Bruce, This was one of the first things done. All Intel boards have been replaced and the problem has happened since. Thanks

Hmmm... that might work on some AOI machines but I believe the vision inspection is usually performed before the part is placed on the board, at least thats the way my machines work!! Website was much more attractive than moonman's though!!

You should contact MYDATA service department and see what advise their phone support people can offer. You may not be doing the process correctly (wrong calibration boards, etc...)

We are using an inline aqueous washer with saponifier to clean smt assemblies with rosin based no-clean solder paste. Looking for a reliable, cost-effective way to monitor the cleanliness of the assemblies after cleaning. Any recommendations?

If its newer equipment.....and newer software.....usually the software for the smt machine will tell you the estimated time once the board has been programmed. If its older equipment.....get the old stop watch out.

Hello, Some questions.... Are you running lead free? What alloy? Whats your pot temp at? Temp of the board after preheat? Are you getting any solder in the barrels (

I am looking for a tool to measure copper thickness on finished circuit boards. I saw one of these once being used for incoming inspection. Can someone point me to where I can find such a tool? Thanks, Mike.

It looks to me that your reflow profile is not hot enough. Seeing the granular structure of the solder paste still on the board would indicate the paste has not reflowed entirely.
