we are using convection ovens and we face the issue when changing from Pb to RoHS but also even when change top side to bottom side if the diference on the profiles needs to go from a high temp to low, we are opening the hood but we would like not to

Hello all, what is your opinion on step stencils. Is it better to have the step on the squeegee side or on the bottom side of the stencil? Why you do it this way? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

I think you need step on the bottom side of the stencil (undercutting) only to compensate elevations on the top side of the PCB, such as labels.

Consider offsetting the dimensions for at least one fiducial when applying them to the top and bottom side of a board. This helps to pokayoke the design by preventing an operator from accidentally loading the magazine or printer with the "wrong side

I see that the connector has plastic alignment pins. Is there any reason you can squirt a drop hi-temp "Crazy" glue into each hole, after the bottom side assembly and before printing the top side?

I guess the link you sent shows Top Side of the component. Send a picture of the bottom side - which the camera will see and I may be able to help.
