Hi all. We are currently trying to build a downstream bypass to have our final conveyor feed into our oven, which doesn't have a SMEMA interface. Right now we have to manually connect the two downstream ready pins by hand. I have a good idea of how I

I need to connect a Universal HSP (SMPI, Upstream) with a SMEMA interfact (downstream). Can anyone give me some information about the SMPI interface? Or does anyone have a schematic of a conversion box from SMPI to SMEMA? Thank you! B.R. Andreas

Hi everyone! I need several Upstream & Downstream SMEMA Interface cables for the line I'm pulling together. Can anyone advise me on where to buy some pre-made cables or do I have to do them all myself? Thanx, bobruz rruszanowski@moog.com

If the phone jacks have two conductors in them, I would wire them to standard SMEMA connectors so that the upstream side goes to the middle two SMEMA pins and downstream goes to the outermost two pins. If there are 4 conductors in the phone jacks, y

Hi Tom If the DYNAPACE has SMEMA out all you need to do is place a two wire jumper into pins 3&4 or 1&2 depending upon DYNAPACE's SMEMA configuration. This will by-pass a Release signal and feed PCBs into the oven.

PFC box is upstream and Agilent is downstream. If Agilent conveyor runs with no board upstream pins 3 & 4 made be shorted. This should not be the case if there is no board upstream.

Sounds like your PCB count is set at 2. Many times 0 is setting for continuous use. Another cause could be that your SMEMA is not working properly with your downstream conveyor and the machine thinks it can't allow another board into the worknest.

Show this drawing because we know nothing. At the end I put on the button - downstream is a "closed contact" signal.
