I am looking for someone that has the equipment and the expertise to repair and calibrate Universal HSP 4796 feeders. Does anyone know of someone that does this?

When using the rectangular plate given with the machine that is used with calibrating the movable camera, does the longer side of the plate get fed into the machine ( rails set to 80mm ) or the shorter side ( rails set to 74mm ) Thanks Dave

With that said, do you happen to have the calibration procedure for the MTU? I already have the X0 Y0 jig. Just need to know where exactly I am supposed to calibrate with regards to the actual trays.

You should be able to find this in the utilities menu under calibrate machine. (If your software is the same as my Momentum) If not, give MPM service a ring. They will help you.

I was asked how we verify that the thermocouples INSIDE the reflow oven are calibrated. That seems pretty impractical to me. Has anyone come across this ?

We use IQ feeders from PPM and cant find any reference material on maintenance and calibration of these feeders. Does anyone here know where I can get repair manuals, diagrams, or any info on these feeders at all?

The only reason you would need to run this calibration is if the camera was replaced or the centering camera got whacked which is highly unlikely. If your placements are off, put an offset in the parameter file.
