We've got an MPM Speedline AP/B that's in Imperial ( inch ) units - everything else here is Metric. Can this printer be configured to Metric units ? Software AP/UP2000 sw ver 7.0c currently installed if that makes any difference Cheers

Not on mine Sadly. When you go to page 2 of the menu the units are displayed for reference only in a grey box on screen. Can't find any settings that will actually change yet

I am looking for recommendations for a table top reflow system that can do lead and lead free solder. Has anyone tried the SMT-2011 Desktop system sold by SMT max? Any of the manncorp/LPKF systems ect?

What's your target for voiding? I cannot see it violate 25% of solder joint area. Process setting and PCB design can impact the voiding, many factors, such as PCB pad, stencil aperture and thickness, re-flow profile, solder paste, etc.

Besides correct stencil design, solder paste chemistry can have a profound effect on voiding. People will tell you reflow profiles. I have never in my career seen a reflow profile have any effect on voiding unless it is grossly off.
