Frequency to verify the reflow profile

We verify ours once a month using our calibration board. You can use any board once your profile is set for a specific product. All you are doing is checking the performance and repeatability of the oven.

Who is your stencil vendor? I'd ask them if they have any standard guidelines. That's what I did. I took their standard design guidelines, made them mine and have been making additions and changes since.

Dear MrMaint, I have a COMET machine and I need to calibrate the X axes of table B that it is of by aprox 0.2%. Please help, the manual do not tell how to do this. Best regards, Greg

removing glued chips

We find it impossible to remove the glued micro-BGA chips like the CPU and the UEM ICs used in Mobile Phones. They are both surface mount devices and glued with some chemicals we think. Any help is most needed in this matter.
