Its been a long time but a CP40 will not run under XP its win 95 or win98 only and I believe it can only use the original style mother board.

Hi Muzzy. I have a problem with the software. It si possibile copy the software on the HD or is necessery install it? Do you have the original floppy for the installation Samsung program (ODBC, vme,ecc)?

Can you give any idea on how can I check if the MOSFET in the circuit is defective or not. do i need to remove it from the circuit to test it.thanks alot

Power up the circuit, and see how it performs. Check voltages at the input and the output, and compare to a known good board. Otherwise, you can check resistance in an un-powered circuit. Compare the readings to a known good board. cheers, ..rob

I have 4 boards already burn, that's why I want to check it prior power input. Is their a way I can check if it is in good working condition. I suspected it to have source to drain short but not sure on how to check it.need help thanks.

How about rework (touch-up) for Class 3? Some say that you are not allowed to rework anything for Class 3. Though I have not found any proof for this 'requirement' in the standards.
