Duckman, That's a very good point. The issue is that 8.0 has AML which is one feature that we're particularly interested in. Also I still am not sure what's the lesser of the evils, having to deal with the bugs in a new release, or having to upgrade

Hello all, I am looking for a high temp lead free solder wire to use when attaching thermocouples for oven profiling. I figure something that reflows at 270-300c would do the trick. Can anyone give me a Brand, model# for such a solder? THANKS.

oh....for the feeders moving 2 parts....you must teach a pickup repeat. Make an extent in the pickup editor and attach it to repeat with pick and make it a 2x1 with an 80 mil offset. The machine will then pick the part that is out of the sensor first

Pavel First off I agree with Newton It sounds like the machine may not be level. Check all four feet while the machine is warming up none of them should be moving up or down. Chances are your right front or left rear foot is not at the right height.

0603 parts at .2mm spacing is pretty easy. But are there any other parts, like fine pitch QFPs? Is your board HASL or something else? Is there resist/mask between all pads? If it's just 0603's at .2mm, then you can probably go 7 mils and get good

Hello everyone. I have around 1200 ICs that needs reballing. I don't plan to tackle these ICs myself. Therefore, anyone know of any companies that have a good/quick/cheap reballing service? And can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the service

I would appreciate comments from anyone familiar with Fuji CP6's and CP6E's. Essentially, I would like to understand the important differences between these two machines. Considering that we use FujiCAM as a programming tool, does a CP6E require a

The E has a different x-y table setup, i seem to remember the CP6 having rollers and cams to control the z table height, the CP6E has a belt driven z axis. Also i think the CP6E is slightly faster, 44K cph against 40K, still just program it as a CP6
