You should do a bit of research into Mirae Placement machines.. they took over the Quad machines and built on them so your feeders may still be compatible... I only know this because I spoke to an agent last week - I have never used quad or Mirae..

Any major brand (Samsung, Juki, Panasonic, Fuji) will work, most important is what service and support you will get *after* you buy the new machine. Once the machine is set and run, the most annoying part is to have downtime waiting for support quest

Dear DeanM, I have the same thoughts about quantity of solder paste. Also I think about poor wetability of some pads (walls) on modems. I'm glad that my ideas are the same like yours and other members of forum. I will try to increase pads dimensions.

Looking are "new" stencil printers. Have heard a lot of people like the Ekra. I see there are X5s, X4s, and X1s available all over the place. I can't figure out what the differences are. They seem similar, and are similar vintage. Any insight?

We currently have five X5's. Which we like. My only other experience with other EKRA models was, we had an X3 loaner a few years ago, and after a week of trying to use it we wanted to take a sledge to it...so in a nutshell, X5-great, X3-not so much

I've never had that particular problem with our machine, but I do know that if the CB pop for whatever reason the machine doesn't give an error. So I would check those, if you haven't yet. Also under options you can do an element check, see if that
