That's the correct way when optimizing a new program or with less part numbers. But when reoptimizing a running program, it may not be so convenient to change all feeder numbers to '0'. Here is where changing the position to 'Relative' helps without

Ok i did this: when optimizing PCBs, you can add "fixed PCB" - the machine treats this PCB as the one for which the feeders have reserved space. I enter places in such a PCB that are to be omitted during the allocation. It works very well - selected

We have an YXLON Cougar X-Ray machine. Run good in 10 years. Now, when we started the machine as usual, the machine run START-UP process, Manipulator Reference OK, Vacuum OK, but not "Warm Up", the X-Ray keep turning off and on showing Voltage ~50KV

Presently we are facing wrong loading of zener diode components in SMT Line. * In the particular product, we have two different part numbers of zener diode but the package and color code is same.Only the voltage is different is there in between two p

This is a very tricky question butt... we should be able to afford up to 200k for a full line (printer/PnP/inspection/oven) I know the cost of feeders will be very critical but looks like the good old pneumatic not cutting it anymore.

Flexibility (if what I am thinking about flexibility is correct) is more important than speed. Most of the time spent on reloads, not the runs. We have high mix and fairly low volume (100-1000) Medium complexity QFPs, 0402, LEDs 100-2000 components p

That is a very tight budget for a new line with the capabilities you describe. You might be better off with a refurbished line from a reputable dealer. Equipment that is only a few years old can get you the capabilities you want within your budget.

Hi, I'm currently in the process of evaluating a number of 3D AOI machines such as Koh Young Zenith Alpha HS+, CyberOptics SQ3000, Mirtec MV-6 Omni, Parmi Xceed L and Aleader ALD8720S. Does anyone have any thoughts on these machines as to which is b

When I was looking at Mirtec (4-5 years ago) I wasn't very impressed compared to Koh Young. It was easy to tell that Koh Young started with 3D and then added 2d features where needed, and that Mirtec had done the opposite. There's nothing wrong wit

May be someone can share an expirience of using Pemtron machines? As I know it's designed by ex-Koh Young engineers. Also Yamaha YSi-V (HS2) is interesting. Both of them looks interesting for it's price, but I saw them only in demo... What about rel
