Hi, Walter, Why don't you try no-clean flux? We ever met the same condition, later, we changed to no-clean flux solved the problem.

That will definately cause a shorter tip life. The high tin in the alloy along with the higher temps are probably your culprit. We have noticed a degredation it tip life when we changed from leaded to RoHS on standard PCB's. Good Luck Chris

We encoutered few PCB after IR reflow the PCB pad change color from silver to yellowish / brownish. Our IR reflow peak temp is ~250 degree. The brownish cannot be remove with IPA as well. What is the main reason causing this issue?

When you teach the fid on the PCB and the camera then changes to stencil image, is it in close physical proximity to the feature/fid you wanted or do you have to move quite a bit?

We had some AP machines that are long gone but found this in an old doc. Hope this works for you. Hit the “esc” key to get to a dos prompt Type “edit ap.opt” Make changes. Save and exit. Reboot machine Good luck
