Novastar is JUNK, that is why you cannot get repeatable results. Check the conveyor rails, you will find they are warped. Novastar uses cheap, non-machined rails. Straight from china or india. Their stuff is garbage. Best to swallow the loss and star

I am trying to do a "sanity check" on an SMT hourly consulting rates. The work requires expertise in SMT process, IPC inspection guidelines and as well as hand assembly. The work would be performed in China but needs to be performed by an American.

I would have to agree with Mike. All our boards from Taiwan are good. Most boards we get form China have board related issues.

Had the same problem with boards from China. Try using Scotch Brite medium duty pad. It worked for us.
