I would like to use a no clean paste on an assembly, but seams most no cleans only get to SIR values of 10 E10 or so. Can anybody recommend something with a higher SIR residue? Peter

Does anybody knows if there is any reaction if I clean OA solder/flux residues using Isopropilic Alcohol? Is there any chemical recomended to clean residues manually instead of using a washing machine.

I had problems with very simple timing circuits in the kilohertz range with leadfree NC solder pastes. Never saw the problem with lead NC solder paste. Run lead free no clean and clock was off. Run lead no clean and clock was right on.

Does anyone know of an inexpensive way of holding small parts or boards in place in a wash basket to prevent them from moving during cleaning process.Keep in mind you want the top of the parts/boards to also get clean. Thanks
