Can you make a clone of your corrupted HDD? Get a new HDD, I think any HDD with the correct connections is ok. Restore the clone to the new HDD. You can't lose anything if you try..

i think the issue is a conflict with the clone. in the feature licencing screen it shows the correct dongle number but the Serial number from our other machine. we never got software as we bought the machine at an auction.

I'm looking for a clone of an ekra x5 hard drive...we are willing to provide the hard drive and compensation for your time. ekra want us to upgrade the hardware to work with their latest software... they no longer offer the older version of software

Hi ii is possible to clone a hard disk, but the calibration data must be backup first. if this not can, then the machine must be calibrated.

Jin, Cloning is possible, but the machine will have to be recalibrated since calibration data from running machine will be copied to failed one. As to back ups. Are you able to get into engineering menu? Regards
