We are prepairing a budget for the purchase and installation of a complete SMT Assembly Line. We need to assembly 25K units/month at the begining, and up to 100K unit/month in 1 year. The size of the PCB is around 3"x3" and the following components (

We are experiencing some difficulties with reflow soldering a 1210-sized MOV with silver/palladium finish. The PCB finish is SAC. When inspecting the board after reflow it seems that nearly all solder is gone both from the pads and the component term

Yes 0402 8X4 embossed feeders exist for Panasonic MSR, Universal GSM, Contact Systems, and Mimot for sure. In the old days of 0402 components, 0402 resistors used to come in 8X4 paper tape but now I think most 0402 resistors and capacitors come in 8

Mario, what happens when there are components on the boards that are not rated to take temperature of 230-240 C Peak for a mixed assembly. I guess there are tons of sn/Pb components that have rated temp of 225-230 C.. So in guess you might want

Hi John My understanding of your post is that you are asking if anyone has tried to enforce MSL levels or reflow parameters onto the component vendor/manufacturer. Is this your question or am I mis-interpriting it? If that is the case you will not

Of course, if the number of required component codes ( = feeders) is not very great, you might want to look into odd-form assembly machines. With them you can insert a much greater range of components than just simple radial components and you can ge

Mark: One thing you will find with the Panasonic software is that it will use one component file for the same size/shape component. This is a good starting point. However, you may have better succes changing the part numbers you tend to lose more of.

Hi Bud We buy what you're selling, when you say, "I suspect ... coo planarity of the connector during soldering (bending like banana) and that is why first or last leg is not soldered." This component is probably acting like some BGA that curl at t
