Thank you for the reply. We do build SnPb assemblies as well as Pb-Free. I am aware of the Silver paste. However, what impact is there with reflowing SnPb components with a max temp of say 220C when using the higher Pb-Free temps?

We purchased a Promation 2 meter, 2 stage conveyor 1 year ago, although it is not as robust as I would like, for connecting 2 Juki flexible mounters together in line (as a buffer) and to hand place some bulk components it works just fine. No one has

Jon, I tried to compile your code, but had to make 2 changes for happy compilation under Borland C++ Builder. Specifically: #include void outNum(double RealNum, long SigFrac) Now the question, could you post your component_file? Or was it generat

Take a look at the Essemtec machine it basicallly does what you wish to acheive but at a much higher price. It uses a standard camera, laser alignment of components which would probably be essential if you wish to achieve your stated speed. Could sit

As chunks says use the paste manufacturers recommendation. Our paste manufacturer has recommendations on both straight ramp and soak for our paste. We prefer the straight ramp on most boards due to the increased production it enables. There a

Could it be from a dirty stencil, rather than from the pick and place operation? We've seen a number of occurences recently with solder balls near some of our fine pitch components...we eventually diagnosed as dirty stencils...excess solder on the b

Hello, about 20mm - some kind of inductance for this week. If I were you, I would check another brands of ovens too. I mean why the clearance is so small and why they want to charge you for their mistakes? I would insist to do that for free. Next

When the component suppliers specify the cap as no more than 50sec (or even less time)above 200C, is there any way the lead-free profile window will fit if we wil have to achieve a peak temp of 230c for at least 30sec for the lead-free process? maybe

Thanks CK. You are right the 200C constraint is absurd, but it's the reality, and the worst is this kind of components will go through lead-free profile. Do you or any body here experiencing the same problem? any body using Vapor phase and having suc
