We have an up coming job that has conductive ink deposits on the solder side of the PCB for contact switches and a zebra strip that connects to an LCD display. My question is... Do these need to be masked to protect them from the wave solder process

Questions are: What is: * Purpose of this PCB ink? * Meaning of 'non-conductive?' * Temperature of your laser? * Reason solder mask is not the product of first choice? * Space of the unsoldered region located between soldered areas? * Maximum cure te

Does any one know of a supplier high temperature PCB ink that can safely used between pads on an SMT connector. The product ideally should be screened on and have resistant to short exposure to heat from a selective lazer. Must be non-conductive and

I am trying to find out as much information as possible relating to conductive inks. If anyone out there is using them please give some advice. 1) How are you curing the ink? 2) What type of substrates are you using and who supplies them? 3

Short answer: Yes. Depending on the application of the conductive ink, suppliers select different mesh for the silver particles. So, you should follow your supplier's recommendations for printing, for instance: Conductive Ink||PI-2000 Highly Condu

We're aware of no such standard. Check with ink suppliers [eg, Conductive Compounds, Coats Circuit Products, Creative Materials, etc] to confirm.
