We understand the problem of trying to coat over RTV. We have seen the same problem with acrylic and urethane coatings not wanting to stick to RTV. Some acrylics seem to be worse than urethane. Since this is a new product, may be you could pot your

| I have boards coated with Humiseal 1B73. At a late point mfg. site we need to remove a series of 0603 resistors for optioning purposes. I have been trying to determine the fastest, easiest way to re-coat the pads after removal. Drying time of the c

We don't know, there are lots of different conformal coating materials and staking materials. Not all combinations behave similarly. Our choice would be to epoxy the component to the board, then conformal coat.

Hi Davef, Thanks...Saw 1 of your thread that you posted : Thanks for providing... From davef : There are many possibilities: * Conformal coat is incompatible with surface residue on the board * Conformal coat is incompatible with solder mask on the

Hi Davef, The bubbles occurs at the body also...there's also a washing process before the conformal coating:-the Flux residue are removed after washing. ... The curing profile is also something that we are looking into during the initial troubles

Thanks for your reply sir, We have done production with Machine application earlier, of control electronics sub- assys of some boards with acrylic conformal coating by using one tank... And some boards with polyurathan conformal caoting by usin
