My company is also researching AOI systems and X-ray inspection equipment. Almost all of our assemblies are mixed technology, and contain considerable hand load. Is anyone out there using AOI post solderwave?

Jax, Depends on exactly what information you are looking for. The components that give me most headaches (compatability, suffixes etc;) are IC's. Have a look at the below site. Contains links etc for lots of useful technical and commercial stuff.
