I don't think so if your process is a just in time rework, you have just to develop a profile at your rework station for each component and also clean the place (board) properly. If your process is not a JIT rework, you must have to bake the boards,

In the teach menu of Central controller and under Teach Board Fiducials there should be 6 options. Turn on Global Fiducial Correction by putting a Y in the box. Make sure all others including "Fiducial Data from Autoprogram" have an N in the box. Use

Josh, You can not check the bare boards for black pad unless you remove the gold plating. Like Robin said black pad is nickel oxidation/corrosion and a result from bad electroless nickel plating bath control. The only preventative action you take is

We use a normal off the shelf (Best Buy) mini fridge. As far as the temp readings, I got some USB dataloggers from Omega and stick them in there. Download the data to your PC every couple of weeks (Outlook reminder). I also use these for our Nitrogen

Hi, The board is 412 x 685 mm. I don't really want to use a stencil taped down, as that's much worse than using one stretched over a frame, and protected from damage. It's got a lot of fine pitch, so I need to do it in a controlled way if possible.
