I forgot to mention something about the local fiducial marks: In the "old days" where board stretch was a factor to count with; the use of local fid's around a fine pitch component was sometimes necessary; not to forget that the pick & place machines

Hi Steve- Not being familiar with CS machines as you are...but do you need to use fiducials for a 20mil QFP? If so...OK...just curious. Also, it would be nice to know the reference point that the board designer uses... Board corner, Centroid, part c

Start with targets based on the stencil thickness (for height) and stencil thickness times the aperture size (for volume). * Set reasonable upper and lower control limits (+ 25% and –25 % of the targets, for example). * Next, check the printer set-u

Usually an accident that was perfectly for-seeable, due to a breaking of the rules, or an injury exacerbated by not wearing the appropriate safety gear can kick people along to be sensible. A little pep talk along about doing the right thing after a

Hi Maybe you have too small apertures in stencil. Good apertures size is 90% from pad. And one thing what you can try is that you cut your stencils(blades) aperture corners round (i mean like a oval). I hope that these advices can help you.

Greg, at least on three different brand machines, I was working on, the offsets rotated with the board. If you start out at 0 deg. and the offset in the top left corner than it is on top right at 90 deg., bottem right at 180 deg. and bottem left at 2

Hello All, I am looking for any insight RE: reworking the Xilinx 4044XL 40x40 BGA chip. A customer of mine has no trouble removing it, however, when installing with their BGA rework station, the corner solderballs consistently collapse. Has anyone

The corner balls are supposed to collapse, but at roughly the same time as the other balls collapse. Also, those balls are located in the place that isthe easiest to get hot. Think about cranking-up the bottom heat, waiting, and slowing down the pr
