It's amazing. I rarely saw that ENIG finish could be corroded. It should be the Nickel corroded issue and then affected the solderability. Not clear how to clear this, if you get the answer, let me know. good luck

Shawn ... I believe you. I believe what you're saying. I don't believe that you received the metals that you ordered. From the way it looks I'd guess that you have no nickel and that you're seeing copper corrosion.

Water soluble fluxes can be highly corrosive. Make sure that your new spray fluxer can handle your flux type.

SonFlux EZ is not suitable for water SOLUBLE flux. SonoFlux Servo can be equipped with parts that whitstand corrosive water soluble fluxes. SonoFlux Servo was about 19k€ in 2011 (including installation).

Hello, I have a topic with vias discoloration(that's what supplier said) and I don't know if it's an corrosion problem or something else. I believe that maybe the PCB's are not storage properly. I must mention that aren't any problem at soldering. D

Many pogo pins have a plating that may not solder well. The plating is intended to limit corrosion on the pogo pin from soldering flux. Back in the old days, they used gold. I have no idea of what they use now.

Because it was recommended by the machine manufacturer. Sup 75 is also very corrosive. It basically ruins any tools that touch it if they aren't cleaned properly. I am ordering some of that powder to try.
