Caution: Do not overlook the dust and fragments that will result from this activity. Clean the PCBs somehow to avoid that simple problem. If of course, that this happens on the front end.

Maybe the V-Score is not deep enough? I am used to seeing more like a 30% remaining web, you are closer to 50% 'hege

Deepening the V-scores was in vain. No change. This board is on Rev R now, with no changes to material/array/v-score spec, and this is the first we've seen this problem. I just don't get it.

We use standard "pizza cutter" type depanelizer. You just need to use knives made for aluminum boards, because standard ones gets dull quite fast if used on aluminum. CAB has special knives for aluminum, but I think other manufacturers offers simila

Wow that's thin. We do lots of flex = similar thickness. We do most on a router but in a pinch we cut them out with a good pair of scissors.

I've done V score that thin, but it takes some doing. Using a twin linear knife type machine. In quantity this seems like a perfect job for laser, though.

Have you tried the so called push-back or re-insertion type panel? 5mm*12mm*0.3mm thick FR-4, 120-up panel is doable.

After the CCA is been de-paneled I find exposed board fibers. Should the board edge be sealed with an epoxy to keep moisture from getting into the CCA?

Hello, I would like to ask you about the minimal distance between components and border of pcb especially V-cut to avoid crack of component during depaneling? I need some standard (IPC or something) where is this defined? Thank you for your support

By the time they've reached me/conformal coat they're depaneled (assuming they were panelized at all). Also looked at the tape dot method, but that's a no go as well due to coverage needs.
