Router Recommendations

Electronics Forum | Tue Nov 15 17:01:29 EST 2005 | John S.

My company is looking at purchasing its first router. We've always used press type depaneling systems before. Can anyone make any recommendations regarding the Cencorp 1200 SR and the Tyco Smart Router? Thanks in advance, John S.

FYI: The SR 1200 is going obsolete. The new 1000 SR is replacing it, so you should look at the new machine to compare w/ Tyco. I've seen it at the shows and looks nice. http://www.cencorp.com/cencorp/depaneling/en_GB/1122973593353/

I would assume you are using a depanelizer to cut the boards apart? If not you should be wheather its causing your current problem or not.

Any one use/experiment with one? Seems like a great idea, so I was wondering about the pitfalls.

JBrower, I enjoy this "guru's" posts too. Is that what you meant - that you're awaiting what "the guru" says next? Whatever happened to.... WML & Moonman?

I am absolutely awaiting his next reply. This guy is making me money, so I hope he continues dispensing his wisdom. I'm not sure where WML or Moonman are, heck I'd like to make money of them too. Jay
