Check out the set up of Depanelizer. Try to cut at slower speed & check the blades to make sure it is not time to resharp the blades. If all this parameters OK I would sustect lamination process of board house.

Can you cut v-scores deeper to resolve the issue then build carriers to support the panel? I would say that we usually build carriers for anything that thin regarless of the depanel method.

We had a similar problem once, it was due to insufficient v-score depth. While waiting for remade PCBs we would run an exacto knife along the score lines prior to depanel to cut a little deeper. Not ideal for sure, and not fast, but it worked.

We have a small board about 1" by .5" and it is .012" thick. It is in a 50 up panel. We have tried rat bites and v-score and we keep seeing delamination around the edges. Anyone have experience depaneling boards this thin?

Has anyone use both methods of depaneling on PCB breaktabs? meaning v-score at the edge of the pcb and mouse bites on the opposite side of the tab (break out panel)? Thanks

If you end up buying a depaneling machine/robot, the guys at Pentagon EMS are very good at making fixtures. Once they have the specifications of your machine all you will have to send them is your panelized drawing of your board. In extreme cases you

Hello All, I was given an assembled flex circuit PCB and asked how the board was depanelized as there are no view-able witness marks that I can see. Any ideas? Thanks in advance on any insight to depanelizing without leaving witness marks on the F

Don't rule out the possibility that the board shop depanelized it and it was assembled after depanelization. Been there, dealt with it, expletives deleted.

What do people recommend for PCBA Depanelers/routers. Need to have the following: Inline China support (Shanghai area), Chinese language capable, Grippers/vacuum nozzles to pick individual boards from panel to designated area. Thanks

Matt, believe it or not, but mechanical stress is cracking these internally and you can't see it with bare eye. Consider de-paneling as a root cause if parts are close to the de-panel V-score edge/router tabs. I can send you more information.
