It has stopped all together. We did go thru and touch up the solder joints. It says it fails to initialize the CRT.

Yes, after you move SMT to before PTH like everyone else. I'm guessing that you only have SMT on one side of those boards? And you must be an OEM. A privately owned one? How did you ever start doing PTH before SMT?

My cmos battery died in my HP3070 ATE. I replaced the battery and now the comuter will not boot. I do not even get anything on the monitor. Has anybody come across this issue and how did you fix it?

Thanks. Unfortunatelly I did not find answer on my question. Dispensing glue generally has much worse output then printing glue. Question remains - how output of printing paste is compared to output of printing glue ?

Looks to me exactly what flux does to a board when its not washed correctly. Seems to me that it could be someone did some rework and didn't wash the board? Or the board wasn't washed correctly in the first place? Just speculation though.

Did both board suppliers use the same CAD data to build the boards? We've seen similar where the CAD data was incorrect causing whoever to build the boards incorrectly.
