USING LEAD FREE PARTS WITH LEAD PASTE

Electronics Forum | Thu Jan 05 17:10:04 EST 2006 | russ

The CCGA packages that we install are still a tin/lead alloy and not a SAC alloy. They were 90/10 SN/PB. I beleive that this may be one reason why the difference.

BGA ball Separation

I'm sure that we have all seen it but it can be from so many different things. Definitely can be from flexing, Are you 100% sure that they are good prior to this install remove process?

Surge Protection for Surface Mount Equipment

Remember that there is a difference between protecting the Interface Computer and the Machine itself. One is reletively cheap, one is NOT.

Anyone with Shindenshi (Qualectron) AOI machine?

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 09 09:51:48 EST 2006 | stepheniii

I will probably be having a conference call with Qualectron about the Shindenshi AOI machine. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this machine. Especially if the newer one is notably different than the ESV-304.
