Cleaning PCBs with a MEMS microphone on it

Electronics Forum | Thu Oct 05 13:24:42 EDT 2023 | rgduval

So, a couple of things... First, you're asking about water washing a part, but, note that the manufacturer says to NOT ultrasonically clean their microphones. Those can be two different cleaning types...assembly shops using water wash may not be us

JUKI Pick & Place machine Programming

Electronics Forum | Sun Jun 17 09:48:05 EDT 2018 | sarason

I presume the dongles you talk about are for an application called HLC from JUKI. The 2 different versions are for the later 2000 and 3300 and FX series the other key for the older 700 series. There is another way to solve your problem. AN applicatio

applying ink to Panel of PCB's

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 15 20:03:09 EST 2024 | griinder

Does anyone have experience of using a stainless Fine Grain SMT stencil for the purposes of applying ink to bare PCB's? We are exploring the possibility of getting a stencil to apply a letter that reflects the revision to each of 25 PCB's in a panel.

Stencils with two PCB layouts

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 01 19:31:10 EST 2024 | SMTA-74685453

I am curious if there is any benefit to using two different PCB paste layouts on one stencil. If I have a small PCB with a layout that doesn't take up much space on the stencil, would it be worth it to have both the secondary and primary side apertur

Help me to choose AOI-machine!

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 19 12:48:12 EDT 2024 | jdengler

When we were selecting our AOI I made 3 test boards. 2 of them were "golden boards". These 2 had different shades of green solder mask as I had been told this could cause some issues. I did not encounter that during our selection. The 3rd board ha

I have been in the arena with both new and used. The 10 plus year old Juki's are solid machines unless someone neglected PM's. However...if something breaks and you can't repair yourself or source to third party, Juki will stick it to you. They ma

Gyver: Lemme take a wack [if youll excuse the expression, given direction of the later discussion] at your questions. Q1. Will the baking of BGA or PCB cause more oxidation before the SMT process? A1. It certainly will not cause less oxidation,

MK: If you are getting good product with air, heres what you should do: * Turn off the N2. * Sell that N2 cracker machine. * Pat yourself on the back. * Go out for beers. [Not any of that Canadian Fosters crap, tho][Did you know that Ozzies do

Robert: Out of curiosity, by "BT" do you mean: Bismaleimide triazine, the stuff used to increase the tg of resins used in some BGA interposers. British Telecommunications plc, the guys with bad teeth. BrookTree, the RAMDAC supplier, thats par

PQFP with pitch of 0.4 mm

Electronics Forum | Sat Feb 10 17:12:03 EST 2001 | rpereira

I admit, 16 mil QFP printing is very challenging but if all your control factors (print speed, etc...) are setup correctly (through DOE) extremely high yields can be achieved and more importantly a repeatable and robust product will be manufactured.
