Thanks for the suggestion, but on samsung's website, I only seem to see a paste inspection machine and not a post-reflow inspection machine. Does anyone have experience with the MVP or SAKI AOI machines?

What do you mean by "I've tried contacting Testronics, but no luck."? This appears to be a current model. Do they require a registration fee first? If a company does not support their product after sale I would like to know. Jerry

Thanks dave, We have our problem down to the stencil (printer). We are unaware of any design rules concerning aperatures on glue stencils, does anyone know of any?

We have the same concerns about using OSP with adhesives. On the other hand, some suppliers claim their products work with OSP. This have to be handled on a case-by-case basis. How well does OSP transmit heat? It's quite thin.

I'll second the recommendation for the GF-12 series, although I ended up with the Mistral-260 because of the exchange rate and the longer tunnel. Unfortunately the 260 does not open for easy access like the GF-12, although I haven't needed access yet

What does anyone recommend for a good manual stencil printer as well? This will be used for low volume production. Thanks! Ryan

Can anyone tell me if there is a volume difference between a pound of lead vs. lead free solder? Does lead free solder attack stainless or castiron when it's not molten? Thanks. Jay

Some companies claimed their lead free solders wouldnt attack stainless steel, frankly they do and they should not be allowed to get away with these claims. Lead Free does not attack Cast iron
